Curling. Posted by Sana and Kimberly

What is Curling?
Curling is a precision sport played on ice with heavy stones. It is also called "ice bowls". The goal is to place the stones as close as possible to a target drawn on the ice, called home.

How do you play it?
Curling is played between two teams of four curlers. A game usually consists of ten rounds also called "ends" and lasts two hours. In each round each player from each team is allowed two stones, the players of each side plays alternately. When the stone is thrown, it must be released in the middle of the track before the Hogline (line of the “house”) is reached and must reach the end line. Otherwise it is rejected. At every shot of the game, two players equipped with brushes rub the ice vigorously. So they can change the path of the stone or increase the distance traveled by the stone. A player placed in the house, also called a skip, tells whether or not to brush. The skip decides when or not to brush and the men who brushes decide to apply force.

Our opinion...
We think that curling isn't quite a dangerous sport, but if one the stones land on your foot than we can say that the game is dangerous. But i think that people who play this game are very careful.
